Football League Cup
The Football League Cup, commonly known as the League Cup or, from current sponsorship, the Carling Cup, is an English football competition. Like the FA Cup, it is played on a knockout (single elimination) basis. Unlike the FA Cup where 762 teams entered in 2008–09 only 92 clubs can enter—the 20 clubs of the Premier League, and the 72 clubs of The Football League, which organises the competition. Also unlike the FA Cup, the semi-finals are played over two legs. The winners qualify for the UEFA Europa League, if they have not qualified for European competition through the Premier League or by winning the FA Cup. If this occurs, then the Europa League berth goes to the highest-placed team from the Premier League not already qualified for Europe. Manchester United are the current holders.
Since 1982, the League Cup has been named after its sponsor, giving it the following names:
Milk Cup (1981 to 1986), sponsored by the Milk Marketing Board
Littlewoods Challenge Cup (1986 to 1990), sponsored by Littlewoods
Rumbelows Cup (1990 to 1992), sponsored by Rumbelows
Coca-Cola Cup (1992 to 1998), sponsored by Coca-Cola
Worthington Cup (1998 to 2003), sponsored by Worthington Draught bitter
Carling Cup (2003 to present), sponsored by Carling

The FA Cup
The FA Cup is the oldest and most prestigious cup competition in the World. It was started in 1871 as an amateur tournament and has a unique rule where every team in England can enter. Manchester United have the record number of Cup wins with 11 followed by Arsenal with 10 and Tottenham Hotspur, who have won it 8 times. The most successful amateur team was The Wanderers who won it five times and they won the fist ever FA Cup Final against the Royal Engineers 1-0.
The FA Cup is renowned for Cup upsets and several times a team from the lower divisions has defeated teams from the top division. The FA Cup Final is traditionally at Wembley Stadium and has been since 1923.

Athletic Bilbao
Athletic Club, commonly known as Athletic Bilbao, is a football club from Bilbao in Biscay, Basque Country, Spain. The club has played in the Primera División of La Liga since its start in 1928. They have won La Liga on eight occasions. In the historical classification of La Liga Athletic Bilbao took 3rd place behind Real Madrid and Barcelona, and along with both of them are the only clubs which have never been relegated from La Liga. The club also has a women's team, which has won 4 championships in the Spanish Superliga.
They are known as the Los Leones (the lions) because their stadium was built near a church called San Mamés (Saint Mammes). Mammes was an early Christian thrown to the lions by the Romans. The lions refused to eat Mammes and he was later made a saint. The San Mamés Stadium is hence nicknamed "the football cathedral".
The club is known for its cantera policy of bringing young Basque players through the ranks, as well as recruiting top Basque players from other clubs (like Joseba Etxeberria or Javi Martínez). Athletic official policy is signing professional players native to the greater Basque Country, including Biscay, Guipúzcoa, Álava and Navarre (in Spain); and Labourd, Soule and Lower Navarre (in France). Still, in recent times, this policy has been somewhat relaxed and players with direct Basque ancestry or with no Basque ancestry but formed in Basque clubs have played for the team. This has gained Athletic both admirers and critics. The club has been praised for promoting home grown players and club loyalty. On the other hand, Athletic is one of only four professional clubs in Spain, with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Osasuna, which is not a sports corporation, so that ownership of the club lies in its associates (socios).
